Committee to Save Our City's Homes demonstration at City Hall (1963).

Description: A demonstration by the Committee to Save Our City's Homes at City Hall for rent control and repairs. This rally occurred during a period when New York City enjoyed "home rule" (municipal juristiction over rent regulations). In 1971 home rule was reversed, giving state politicians in Albany juristiction over rent regulations in New York City.
